This one-week power makeover is a favorite tale of ours. A power couple from Washington D.C. landed in their new home. On day one, the common area, kitchen, dining room and foyer were devoid of furniture and decor.
Day two they unexpectedly found themselves as hosts for an important gathering of corporate executives and politicians. In eight days. WIth a lone chair featuring a Ralph Lauren print, we were told, "These are our colors, and our look."
The Crosley's asked: "What can you accompolish in one week to ready the house for entertaining? Keep in mind we have two young rambunctious boys."
Give us a week and we'll do a power make over to source furniture and accessories, acquire approvals, manage delivery and staging. With window treatments not immediately available, drapperies were borrowered from founder Marty Cohen's own home.
Both elegant and functional, the Crosleys' decor was a wild success. Winning us new fans. And a couple of cherished good friends, in the process.
